This was such a fun wave of thrills and action. The book throws up into the world where women when pregnant could have a baby girl. Which leads to a decline in the human race and the world goes insane. Rebellions, violent and fear. In this an organization know as the ARC comes up with solution to preserve the few baby girls and keep them in captivity in hopes to save the human race. This is where we follow the young girl named Zoey. Zoey, along with other women live in the controlled world of the ARC and is force in a life of order and strict rules. Rules where obedience reins and anything rebellious like reading banned books is outlawed. Strict punishments which lead you to be sent to the Box(a dark room).

Zoey knows that everything in the ARC and what they teach isn’t what they seems. Only seen as a test subject and learns the hard truths behind the walls of the ARC. In the book she tries to find a way to escape this facility. Soon she learns that escaping the ARC facility is not as easy as one, two, three. Throughout story we encounter secrets, and more twist plots that unfold throughout the story. Zoey soon learns that the world outside the ARC isn’t as small and learns the true dangers beyond walls. The book also carries the message of what someone would do to fight for freedom in the world where walls stand in your way. To fight for ideals, a voice, and the right to live.
