BOOK REVIEW:

When I saw the premise of the book I was really fascinated. And the book actually reminds me of Sleeping Beauty and even the name of the one of the princess is Aurora. I was really excited and not too much I am a big fan of anything fae or fairies. The book itself does paint the magical world of the Kingdom that two princesses live and also the world that is created within Aurora’s dreamworld.Though do wish the book did go in further with the world building and showed more magical elements.

I also felt like the characters as well. I think the bond between the two sisters despite their differences was relatable since I also have a sister. So that made it intriguing to me. I also like the character Isabelle for the fact she willing to go to wide lengths to get to her sister despite not being able to see. But I will admit there were times where she did irritate me and at times she can be a bit naive especially when it comes to how to break the curse. As for her other sister Aurora I wasn’t really a fan and feel like she could have been developed more throughout the story and felt like she didn’t explain many things.

There was also some other flaws in the story from the fact that I felt lost at certain times. I also had more questions and book had some plot holes that made me confused on how many stories this book had. This doesn’t mean I hope in the next book more question will be answered and there would be more development.

Overall, I think the book had an interesting concept and I liked the authors take on this world. I also think the book has potential to go from an ok book to a more better story as it goes on. I do think some of the characters could be more worked on and be a little more relatable. So that is it for my review. Stay tuned for more book reviews and until next time keep on reading.
