I read many book with vampires that have similar themes. Love triangles, vampire cops, vampire wars with lycans, vampires that fall in love with humans and vampires that are many evil. Today I read Sands of Time: Fate of the True Vampires (Volume 1) by Christine Church. This book is unique in the way it was writing and the point of view from an ancient vampire like woman.
In Sands of Time: Fate of the True Vampires (Volume 1), the books is a collection of journals that show the story of a woman named Kirsa. Kerisa is from Ancient Egypt is a part of a immortal race that sucks blood. They have powers and can live forever. Kersa is unable to make more others like herself or create children. The book also surrounds her story as she lives through the centuries from losing someone she lost, trying to save someone from her race and searches to find ways to create children. This book interesting and fresh. I also found the style of writing likeable and different from the fact its a journal type of book. When you read you will noticed blend of mystery, and historical elements throughout that expand through centuries. The book is great for anyone looking for a quick book to read since its extremely shout but still holds a strong developed story to carry you on.
