Anticipated Reads of Fall 2017

Even though summer is at a close, I am not sad in fact, I am stoked because this fall there is a boatload of awesome books ready to hit the shelves. There are some sequels, returning authors who left us wanting more since their last book, and new series to looking forward to starting. So, in this post, I will be talking about some of the books that made my anticipated list.

The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo

After reading Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows Duology I was really impressed and wanted more. So I was excited to hear there is a new book coming out. This book is a collection of fairytales, folklore, and myths that are connected to the Grisha World that we got to know about it in her other books.

The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken

This is another book that I was interested in checking out after reading Passenger and Wayfarer. I never read her other works and felt like I wanted to pick up another of her books. This is a fantasy book about a boy who has to deal with a demon that lives in him because of his great-great-great-great grandfather broke a deal with the demon. And through the story, the book must break the curse or else.

Warcross by Marie Lu

I never read any of Marie Lu’s book but her books have been on my TBR List for awhile. After my recent trip to the National Book Festival in Washington D.C and seeing her speak I knew I wanted to pick this science fiction book.

Turtles All The Way by John Green

I was excited to learn that John Green is coming out with a new book. I was a fan of The Fault in Our Stars and recently read Looking For Alaska. I knew I must pick up this book when it comes out.

Origin by Dan Brown

This is one of my most anticipated reads of the year and I been waiting for this book like forever. I am a huge fan of The Robert Langdon series and when I saw the cover I went crazy. This is the newest installment and can’t to see what adventure Dan Brown has in store.

Artemis by Andy Weir

Lastly, the new book by Andy Weir is going to be dropping in November and I am stoked. I been a fan of his other book The Martian and enjoyed it so much that I will soon reread it and then watch the movie. I can’t wait for Artemis to drop.

So that is my list of anticipated read of fall. I hope you enjoyed this list. Let me know in the comments if you are excited about these books and what other books you are excited about.
